I have a set of questions prepared for all those who were interested in this movie:

1. Do you think that religion plays an important role in this movie? Argue.
2. How do you see the relation between Sebastien (the son) and Remy (the father)? Try to comment this from different perspectives and notice Sebastien's reactions when he has to do something for his father.
3. Which is the role of politics in this film? Think about the way it's being mentioned during the entire movie. (ex: "Rémy :Mon fils est un capitaliste ambitieux et puritain. Moi qui toute ma vie ait été un socialiste voluptueux." or "Rémy : On a tout été, c'est invraisemblable! Séparatistes, indépendantistes, souverainistes, souverainistes-associationnistes.")
4. How does Louise (the wife) react about his husband's "affairs"? Does she have a natural attitude regarding this subject?
5. Do you think the profession of teacher is somehow compromised because of Remy (his many extra affairs) and his other friends (who are also teachers - some of them) ?
6. How do you find the fact that Sebastian buys drugs for his father when he is in extremely high pain?
7. Comment this answer of Remy: "Toute ma vie durant, je me suis endormi avec les plus belles femmes de la Terre.". Ironic? Proud? or how else can you describe Remy from this perspective?
8. How important is Nathalie in this film? Explain.
